Are senior citizens exempt from obtaining their “Pleasure Craft Operator Card - Boating License”?

Nobody is exempt from the Boating License. However, there are specific deadlines with regards to age and type of craft. Please refer to the Law for additional details.

Who must now have their “Pleasure Craft Operator Card - Boating License”?

As of September 15, 2009 all operators of all ages must have their Pleasure Craft Operator Card (Boating License) to operate any type of pleasure craft (including personal watercrafts)

Will I ever have to renew my operator card (Boating License)?

Your boat operator card is good for life. Furthermore, there are no renewal fees and no annual fee.
